Entrepreneurship is creative, and it’s harsh. No matter what you do, no matter who or where you are, you’re always in a non-stop brainstorm mode. Ideas come, get evaluated. Some go through, others get rejected. The best ones require immediate action.

What does it look like for you?

Do you flow into a daydreaming cycle? Do you write them down? Do you have a partner to bounce them off of?

If you are in this for awhile, you probably got your routine figured out: that place, those people, that music, or that run to turn off the world. Distractions are everywhere: friends calling you to another party, kids running around, family tasks, business requests, or simply I-can’t-focus-today day.

There are no weekends, sick days, or vacations. You look at the world through the prism of your ideas, you’re constantly in search of the ways to make things better – more efficient, more valuable, more understandable.

Your business is your passion and your baby, and you can never get away from it.. nor do you want to. Most days, but once in awhile it gets to you. That day you get tired, or frustrated, you start feeling alone, you get jealous of the ones around you who come home by dinner, turn off their phone and forget about the office routine. Yes, they may complain about the boss here and there, but damn!

They don’t know the hustle of getting another client when the bank account won’t take another overdraft, they get paid even if the company is in loss for several months, they don’t ask themselves “what if I’m wrong, and it won’t work?” question every other day, and they are free from business conversations from Friday night until Monday morning. Oh, lucky them! When was the last time you forgot about your “passion business” for over a day?

And then… it goes away.

Once again, you feel empowered. Once again, ideas flow into you mind like waves into the ocean. You believe, no, you know, you CAN make the world a better place! And once again you catch yourself in humble appreciation of a simple thought: “I wouldn’t give it up for the world”.

I wouldn’t give it up for the world

So..what is it? What brings you back to the inspiration?

That amazing traveler who says “YES” after too many no’s? A video on socials that reminds you how beautiful the world is? A casual talk with someone who understands? A walk around the park, delicious dinner with the closest friends, or hopping on that plane to discover a new place? What are your weapons in this battle of making a difference?

For most of us, support of the community is critical when it comes to running a passion-driven business, and online groups don’t quite help. That’s why we, the YouLi team, decided to host a webinar focused on women in business organizing life-changing travel experiences.

We are the travel tech startupfounded and run by women (and some pretty cool men too). But above all we are building the community of leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who are brave enough to build the business they truly believe in. Whether it is the main focus of the business or just a side revenue stream: these women were able to successfully commercialize their expertise as group travel leaders, and we have a lot to learn from their journeys.

If transformational travel is on your path, Join our conversation. Learn our stories and share yours if you wish. We hold the space to support each other, exchange knowledge, inspire solutions, and “incept” ideas that create the ripple effect that change the world.

Our Community

Every month YouLi team meets with the community members and travel industry experts online to discuss a challenge one of us faces.
